The password of the official Twitter account of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, has been revealed. Dutch hacker Victor Gevers announced that he found Trump’s account password on the fifth attempt and logged into the account.
Speaking to the Dutch media, Gevers said that Trump used the initials of the election slogan “Make America Great Again” and “maga2020!” stated that he entered the account in writing.
Gevers said, “When I logged into the account, I said ‘OMG! “I didn’t want to log in at the time, especially to the account of such an important person.”
Criticizing TWITTER FOR SECURITY
Criticizing Twitter for not being secure to log into the account, Gevers said: “Why is it possible for someone from a different time zone to log into such an important account? Why doesn’t Twitter want better passwords? If I can access your account, foreign countries can, right? Why are people not supposed to protect the president and not notified when someone reports that their account is not secure? ” He said.
INCREASED THE SECURITY OF THE TRUMP ACCOUNT
It was reported that after the incident in question, a two-step authentication measure was introduced to Donald Trump’s account. “We have not seen any evidence to corroborate this claim, including the article published today in the Netherlands. “We have implemented account security measures for high-profile individuals in the United States, including branches of the federal government.” (DHA)
