DEVA Party leader Ali Babacan attended his party’s provincial presidential congress in Manisa. Ali Babacan inaugurated the provincial building on Mimar Sinan Boulevard before the provincial congress at the Cultural Center in Manisa Şehzadeler district, and then he went through the streets of Manisa with a party bus.

At the provincial congress, the president of the Manisa province of the DEVA Party, Süreyya Sakınç, was re-elected with the votes of the delegates. Sakınç said that the DEVA Party will work to represent him in Manisa in the best possible way.

Addressing party members in congress, DEVA party chair Ali Babacan said the country was going through a troubled period and was burdened by the government and the MHP through the economy.
In drawing attention to the resignation process of Bülent Arınç, Babacan used the following statements;

Ali Babacan, who implicitly referred to the dialogues between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Bülent Arınç, used the following statements;

“RECOVER THE FIGURES AND STOP PRESENTING”
Noting that the country’s economy is at its worst in 20 years, Babacan drew attention to the inflation figures announced by TURKSTAT and the 28 percent increase in the presidential budget.
Noting that no one believes in the 7 percent growth figure announced by TURKSTAT, Babacan continued his words as follows;
* The economy of our country is at the worst level in the last 20 years. But he tells them that ‘they will have patience in the face of absence’. When citizens say patience and turn to them, the increase in the presidential budget is 28%, TurkStat announced a growth figure of 7%.
* We asked traders, is Turkey growing, jobs have multiplied? Traders say: “Things are very bad, I can’t pay the rent, I can’t support my family.” TURKSTAT says 7 percent growth. Who will you make believe this? Stop making up and presenting the figures.
* You are losing a lot of confidence. Confidence is the foundation of success in the economy. You will keep the three most important items when you promise, everything you say will be true, when you are entrusted with something, you will look at it as your eyes, you will not betray trust.
* Trust is earned this way. Now, if people no longer believe in the figures announced by the state, you will try in vain. You can’t fix this economy anymore. Who thinks that the economy has grown in such an environment, is there such a thing?
Painful recipe criticism
Babacan, who was burdened by the “painful recipe” statements, also made suggestions for saving. Babacan said the following;
* “When it comes to people, they prescribe pain, but they don’t prescribe pain for themselves. If you call the citizen a painful prescription, I will offer you a painful prescription. Do not ask the citizen for painful prescriptions. I’m calling from here, my painful prescription call.
* First, stick to the law, the constitution, and the laws. Then save immediately. You know, they say, or except reputation, it will be like honey. Reduce the number of planes on international visits, see how they save.
* Then change the following government procurement legislation. Ensure the benefit of the citizen, not supporters, with the transparent open tender system. Put an end to income projects like Kanal Istanbul, at least postpone them.
* Close the asset pool immediately, unless you close it, we will close it as soon as it arrives. Open all institutions and organizations to the TCA audit. If you are going to prescribe pain, apply it yourself first.
“THEY HAVE HAPPENED”
* Recently, they started calling the law again. They say: “We will talk about human rights with economic actors.” Tell us enough human rights, they say the economy will improve, this is the approach.
* If you want to do something about human rights, call the citizens who are innocent and then acquitted. Call 8-10 high school and college students whose home was raided just because of a twitter.
* They were going to talk about human rights with economic actors, look at the word. By saying law, this country is not a rule of law. They adopted a habit and got used to working the judiciary according to their orders.
Stating that political power should be limited to duration, Babacan said: “The longer the time, the more this sense of entrustment disappears, the more I sit in the seat. This country is evolving towards an almost personalized management style. It’s time for them to go, ”he said.
“DERTLERI IS A PERSONAL WAITER, NOT A MEMLEKET WAITER”
When specifying that citizens are offered virtual figures, Babacan said: “In this way, the existing crisis can only be deepened, our citizens continue to become impoverished. We set out to save the state from incompetent hands. An hour ago, our citizen approached us on the street and told us: “Take care of this country, the country is very neglected.” If we can open the brains of the rulers and read inside. Their problems are personal survival, not the survival of the country. The head is everywhere, ”he said.
