Azerbaijan received a new statement on the conflict with Armenia. In the statement made by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, it was stated that Armenia is trying to hide its losses from the people. The ministry noted that the Armenian army has suffered heavy losses from the start of the operation until now. The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry stated the following in its statement:

“The Armenian army suffered heavy losses. Thus, 22 enemy tanks and other armored vehicles, 15 OSA anti-aircraft missile systems, 18 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), 8 artillery pieces were destroyed, more than 550 people died. 3 tanks of ammunition was destroyed in different directions. In clashes in the direction of the village of Talish, the commander of the enemy air battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Lernik Babayan, was killed and the personnel of the military unit under his command suffered heavy losses. As always, the Armenian side hides from the public the true number of casualties in its army. “
