Actor and voice actor Haldun Boysan (62) has passed away. Boysan, who was in the Ürgüp district of Nevşehir for the filming of the television series “Maria and Mustafa”, died at the hotel where he was staying as a result of a heart attack.
Boysan’s funeral was held in front of the hotel where the TV series actors and the film crew stayed and he was sent to Ankara, where he would be buried with prayers after receiving halalness. After having appeared in more than 150 films and television series and having performed voice-overs, Boysan received the award for “Best Supporting Actor” at the 11th Ankara Film Festival. Boysan was known for his character “Bingo” on the television series “Valley of the Wolves.” Boysan was mistakenly thought to be the son of the writer Aydın Boysan.
It was learned that Haldun Boysan could not go to the hospital for fear of the coronavirus, and therefore, although it was time for a change, he could not change the battery in his heart. It was determined that the drums in Boysan’s heart should be changed in June, and the artist had an appointment with his doctor in Ankara yesterday morning to change the drums, as the artist fell ill in the pool the day before.
