Ankara Governor Vasip Şahin, who left for a condolence visit to Istanbul after the death of Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu’s mother, Servet Soylu, fell ill on the way. Governor Şahin was transferred to Sakarya Research and Training Hospital as a precaution.
Governor Şahin, who was known to be in good condition, was released from the hospital after his checks. Governor Şahin declared that he would continue his trip to Istanbul by thanking the chief physician and health professionals at the hospital.
“NO SERIOUS SITUATION”
Ankara Governor Vasip Şahin, who made statements about his state of health upon leaving the hospital, said:
* You got into trouble, but there is no serious situation. Probably something I ate touched. I went through the hospital as it passed. Thanks to our chief doctors, our doctors and health professionals took a great interest in me.
* Controls, tests were done and my blood pressure was measured. I hope we continue on our way again now. Once again, I would like to thank our chief physician, our physicians, especially our Chief of Police and our Dear Governor, for your interest. (İHA)
