CHP Group Vice President Özgür Özel drew attention to the unlimited rights granted to them by the board of directors of Borsa İstanbul A.Ş, 10 percent of which were sold to Qataris last week and claimed that Fahrettin Altun and his wife received “five salaries”. Özel said: “The house of Fahrettin Bey and a salary of the board of directors of the University of Marmara and Turkish Airlines through his wife. Five salaries of two women of three Fahrettin Bey. The nation is breaking down.”
Altun made a statement regarding the “five household wages” allegations that the CHP put back on the agenda when it was revealed that he received “attendance fee” from Borsa Istanbul. Hilal Kaplan, a columnist for the Sabah newspaper, posted the statement on her social media account.
Kaplan stated that Altun shared his statement from the private whatsapp group with his permission.
Consequently, Fahrettin Altun claimed that they did not receive five salaries and that his wife Fatmanur Altun received only one salary. Altun acknowledged that the ‘attendance fee’ was paid by Borsa Istanbul, but said he was spending it on charity.
‘I FAVORED THE RIGHT TO SITUATION’
Fahrettin Altun “I have to expose the five salary lies!” used the following sentences:
“I only have one salary. I have not touched a penny of the attendance fee that I have received as a member of the Board of Borsa Istanbul for 2 years. I spent it in good health. I know this does not mean. But they did not leave what They told me, my family. There is also the University of Manas. I am the head of the delegation. This duty is not paid work. So I did not get a penny for this duty!

Altun also had this to say about his wife Fatmanur Altun’s salary: “My wife also only receives a fee from the University of Marmara. She does not dare to be a member of the THY Board of Directors. She declared it months ago, but they continued to lie. And the smear campaign, which is promoted almost every month with new lies, will not be able to get us out of our way. We have embarked on this path, this cause. Although these lies touch our blood, they lash us. ”
