The spokesperson, Deniz Zeyrek, expressed his views on the threat from Bülent Arınç, whose statements he made in Habertürk, on the political agenda, on the threat from CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu by Alaattin Çakıcı.
Deniz Zeyrek from Sözcü made his comment on Alaattin Çakıcı’s threats and insults against Kılıçdaroğlu by Bülent Arınç, who hit the agenda with his comments on the Osman Kavala and Selahattin Demirtaş court trials in his article.
Zeyrek wrote that Arınç met with CHP Vice President Oğuz Kaan Salıcı upon leaving the program and made his wishes “soon get better”.
Zeyrek stated that Arınç made the following statement regarding the threat from Çakıcı:
“Although this threat seems to target Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, it is actually directed against democracy. There is no side that needs to be approved. It was done both for Parliament and for democracy. The President of the Assembly should have this job. The threat to a deputy, a leader of a political party must not remain silent ”.
