He answered questions from journalists Muharrem Sarıkaya and Kübra Par under the moderation of Veyis Ateş on Habertürk TV.

In making a statement about the live broadcast, Meral Akşener responded to the question from IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu’s tweet posted on March 8, International Working Women’s Day. Akşner said: “There were no questions or reactions from the public or party staff to my statement regarding Ekrem İmamoğlu’s tweet.”

VEİS ATEŞ: Did you say something like ‘Your reaction to Mr. İmamoğlu’s tweet, we were in a difficult situation here’? Has there been any reaction from your party staff?

AKŞENER: I say it under the lines, the citizen has understood it. Kurdi understood the Turk. But those who consider themselves opinion leaders in quotation marks continue to misunderstand. The components of the Popular Alliance are constantly testing our party, insulting, doing ugliness. He called me from the PKK, is there anything else? I live in Üsküdar. The Interior Minister appeared in Üsküdar and said: “Karamollaoğlu and Akşener Kandil signed a document.” Our friends are disturbed by this disrespectful and ugly worker attitude, wagging their fingers. We were in the alliance on June 24, the Felicity Party, the Democratic Party, the CHP, the IYI Party. We declared a decision, we said ‘we will back whoever stays in the second round’. We are the ones who presented the offer on March 31st. Felicity Party nominated a separate candidate. The Democratic Party has nominated candidates everywhere. We went with the CHP. We did not nominate candidates for Iğdır and Ahlat with my proposal. We supported the candidate of the MHP in Iğdır, the candidate who was a member of the MHP in Ahlat and then went to the AK Party. HDP has nominated candidates wherever our candidates are located, and we respect that. In Balıkesir, the HDP nominated a candidate, got votes and we lost the metropolitan with 9,900 votes, we respect him. Politics is such a thing. The National Alliance and the Popular Alliance are becoming confused. People’s Alliance flesh nails, to the grave, the unity of destiny, this emotional alliance. Ours are two rational political parties, based on projects, preserving our corporate identities, not carnal, conformed according to the demands of the voters, and whose proposed solutions to the problem are different from each other. It does not happen when the rate of us is evaluated by your attitude and behavior. The ideas are different, when there are criticisms or mutual objections, they turn ‘This is the AK Party’.

PAR: When you disagree within the Nation Alliance …

AKŞENER: Could it be … Look, there are people who are constantly in disguise. There is a cut that shoots us with a finger. There are those who try to organize the Kurds. A more liberal section. There are also liberals and conservatives on the left. There is a group of people who point fingers at the Kurds. Meanwhile, nobody turns to the Kurds and says ‘what do you think?’ Regarding the matter of Mr. İmamoğlu. Our party does not originate in these areas, sir, you say “no” to sending troops to Libya. He is again a member of the PKK. You say “yes” to send troops to Idlib, you say “blinking”.
