Mucteba Kilic, a member of the Socialist Revolutionary Workers Party (DSIP), was arrested in 2016 as part of the FETO operation. He spent 26 months in prison for being a member of FETÖ. Mucteba Kilic also applied to the Political Academy that the AKP opened to train new politicians. Kılıç, whose application was accepted, took distance lessons due to the pandemic. Under the ‘Certificate of Achievement’ awarded to Kılıç, the signatures of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and AKP Vice President Hamza Dağ were carried out. The public knows Kılıç with his different characteristics. Kılıç entered the Gülen congregation during his college years. Even the poem he wrote to the head of FETÖ attracted attention. He approached Gülen among thousands of university students and read poems for minutes, crying. In the 2010 referendum, Mücteba Kılıç, who supported the “not enough, but yes” campaign, also served as an advocate for young civilians in the FETO conspiracy cases.
