HOW IS AGI CALCULATED?

The AGI is based on the annual gross amount of the minimum wage applied to workers over 16 years of age;

  • 50% for the taxpayer himself,

  • 10% for the spouse who does not work and has no income,

  • Separately for each of the children; 7.5% for the first two children,

  • 10% for the third child

  • 5% for other children,

The amount corresponding to each month is calculated by dividing the amount found by multiplying the income tax rate by the 15% rate corresponding to the first tranche of the income tax rate, applying the discount rates calculated taking into account the state personal and civil of the employee. This calculated amount is deducted from the tax payable.

HOW IS THE NEW MINIMUM WAGE DETERMINED?

The minimum wage is determined by the Minimum Wage Determination Commission, which consists of 15 people, 5 workers, employers, and government representatives. The Commission meets four times to determine the new minimum wage.

WHAT IS AGI?
