The increase in corona virus cases in Adana remains a cause for concern.
Health Minister Fahrettin Koca made a statement yesterday on his social media account: “We repeat our provincial meetings with our governors of Adana, Hatay, Mersin, Samsun and Kastamonu, provincial health directors and presidents of public health. Adana, Hatay, Mersin and Samsun, respectively, are at high risk. In the last week, the increase in cases in Adana was 50 percent, the occupancy rate in intensive care was 79 percent. In Hatay, the increase was 125 percent, the intensive care occupancy rate was 86 percent. The increase in Mersin was 50 percent, the intensive care occupancy rate was 74 percent. 35, the intensive care occupancy rate is 81 percent. Kastamonu increased by 50 percent, the intensive care occupancy rate was 74 percent. ”
The increase in coronavirus cases in Adana was also reflected in the HES mobile application of the Ministry of Health.
It was seen that on the Adana risk map, almost the entire city was painted red, which means “high risk”. While the mask requirement is seen to be seen in Adana in general, inattention to the social distance rule in public areas such as neighborhood markets is a concern.
Seeing the risk map in the HES mobile program, a citizen named Emine Bebek said: “A month ago there was not that much increase in cases. Adana is in bad shape now. Everywhere there seems to be a risk zone. This seems to increase even more because people are not protecting themselves. People are afraid to go out. Everyone around us contracts the corona virus. We cannot go to hospitals with the slightest discomfort. The intensive care unit of the hospitals is complete. Even the park we are in is at risk. People are confused about what to do as everywhere it is shown as a risk zone. We can’t spend time at home all the time, people get bored. In the Hayat Eve Sığar app, all regions look risky. The risk-free zone is almost non-existent. “Only cemeteries are shown without risk,” he said.
Selçuk Tokaç, for his part, stated that he feared the increase in cases and that he tried to communicate with clients remotely as much as possible and said: “Unfortunately, the cases started to increase abnormally. We try not to let all customers in. May Allah surprise our end. We are afraid of losing our loved ones. We will try to live with a mask, we are used to it. We checked the Hayat Eve Sığar program and all sides are in red. Only cemeteries look clean. Everyone should pay attention, ”he said.
