CHP Istanbul Provincial President Canan Kaftancıoğlu, who was heavily exposed to death threats, name-calling and hate speech by AKP executives and some so-called ‘troll’ accounts on social media, posted a message on Twitter.
“CHP ORGANIZATIONS WILL NOT TALK WITH EMPTY JOBS”
In asserting that the CHP district chiefs want to make a collective statement against the threats and insults of AKP members, Kaftancıoğlu used the following expressions in his message to the district chiefs:
“My dear presidents;
AKP and its partner MHP have been unable to develop a non-threatening policy. Threats are floating in the air as those who fear a “man” have a big misconception that we too will be afraid of them.
We have bosses who say we make a collective declaration. There is no need to take seriously those who fear their shadows, but if you see statements by AKP administrators in their districts that are common to their hate speech and threatening language, you can never respond in an appropriate language and style. that suits our group. You don’t even have to take it seriously and answer it if you ask me. As CHP organizations, we will continue to work for the people of Istanbul, who will not deal with empty jobs. ”
