President of Religious Affairs Dr. Ali Erbaş’s words about homosexual coexistence in the sermon he read last week during Friday’s prayer created controversy. There was talk about the Professor of Religious Affairs, who made statements on a television program in which he participated. Dr. Mehmet Görmez also joined.
In the sermon, “Islam accepts the adultery of the greatest harams. It is the curse of death and homosexuality. What is the wisdom of this? It was exposed.”
He did not say: “It means that we connect these kinds of problems with a certain group of sins, we speak to God in the name of Allah. This is not true. Because the sins of global politics are greater than all sexual sins.”
Görmez said: “Our sin-kebair list has changed. Great sins have changed now. We shouldn’t get stuck there because we don’t change the seed gene, we play with food, we develop chemical weapons, we expose the entire universe, because they don’t go between sin-kebair in our books. We need to update our sin-kebair with the Sunnah considering the Koran. ”
Görmez added: “The statement of the Ankara Bar Association is an explanation that accuses Islam of being of legal age. It is a separate thing to underestimate the values of faith in a nation. It is a text that deserves all kinds of condemnation.”
