The cabinet meeting chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan started at 3:55 p.m. in Beştepe.
The main item on the meeting’s agenda will be the fight against the coronavirus. Taking new measures will be on the agenda in the number of coronavirus cases that reach 30 thousand cases per day.
In this sense, the Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca, is expected to report to the Cabinet, to make a complete presentation on the number of cases, the most recent situation in the provinces, risk map and vaccination studies.
New measures and restrictions are expected to be announced before the month of Ramadan, which will begin on April 13, taking into account iftar and sahur hours.
OTHER THEMES
Another title of the meeting is expected to be outlined in Turkey’s EU summit report, after the departure from the Istanbul Convention the US-EU explanation is assessed.
On the other hand, it is also expected to discuss developments in Libya, the Eastern Mediterranean and Syria. After the change of Presidency of the Central Bank, the most recent situation of the economy will also be evaluated.
President Erdogan is expected to make a statement after the meeting.
