WHAT HAPPENED AT BERAT KANDILI?
The night of Berat is the night that the Holy Quran was sent from Lawh-i Mahfûz to the skies of the world. This is called “inzâl”. On the Night of Power, the Prophet was sent for the first time and piece by piece. This is called “deduction.”
Prophet Muhammad is claimed to have said the following regarding Berat Kandili:
“Spend the 15th night of the month of Shaban with worship and fast during the day. Because Allah will manifest this night with His mercy in the skies of the world and will say: ‘No one who repents, let me accept your repentance. No, I will give you what want, if you have another request.
Since it is good news that Allah’s forgiveness and forgiveness is greater on this night, this night has been called the “Night of Berat”. The night of Berat is the fifteenth night of the month of Shaban, which is one of the months of Hegira. Berat Night is one of the best nights in the Islamic world. For tonight, the book of scriptures is written. Our Prophet Muhammad explained the importance of the Night of Berat as follows;
-All children born in this year are registered tonight.
– The names of those who will die this year are written in a special notebook tonight.
– Tonight, everyone’s livelihood is organized.
– Tonight, everyone’s actions are presented to Allah.
Our Prophet said: ‘Allah descends to the skies of the world (tonight) on the fifteenth night of Sha’ban, and forgives people even the feathers of the sheep of the tribe of Ben-i Kelb. Ordered.
