10 YEARS IN PRISON FOR JOURNALIST ERCAN GÜN

The 14th Higher Criminal Court in Istanbul sentenced Ercan Gün, the defendant in the case, to 10 years in prison for “belonging to the armed terrorist organization FETÖ”.

THE FILE OF 13 DEFENDANTS HAS BEEN SEPARATED

It was decided to separate the files of 13 fugitive defendants, including FETÖ head Fetullah Gülen, former prosecutor Zekeriya Öz, Ekrem Dumanlı and Adem Yavuz Arslan.

Ramazan Akyürek was sentenced to aggravated life in prison for deliberate murder. Akyürek was sentenced to 5 years, 7 months and 15 days in prison for destroying the official document.

Ali Fuat Yılmazer was sentenced to aggravated life in prison for deliberate murder. Yılmazer was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison for the crime of destroying the official document.

Former soldier Muharrem Demirkale was twice sentenced to aggravated life in prison.

Ali Öz, a former commander of the Trabzon provincial gendarmerie, was sentenced to 28 years in prison.
