The provinces with the highest number of cases compared to the population were Samsun, Giresun, Sinop, Balıkesir and Yalova. The top 3 provinces with the highest number of cases came from the Black Sea region. According to weekly data; Samsun became the province with the highest number of cases in the entire country with 508.97 cases per 100,000 people.
