The police officer, who killed his fiancee with a gun in the car in Izmir’s Konak district, ended his life with the same gun.
According to the information received, it was learned that he was engaged to the police officer Fırat K. (39) who was in car 35 V 0761 in the Kadifekale district parking lot. (33) for a reason that has yet to be determined.
In the incident that turned into a fight, Fırat K. committed suicide with the same weapon after shooting the woman with a pistol.
Following notification of the citizens who heard the shots, many police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
While 112 teams from the Emergency Service determined that Nagihan Ü died, Fırat K., who was transferred to the Research and Training Hospital of İzmir Bozyaka University of Health Sciences as injured, was unable to save himself despite the intervention.
On the other hand, İzmir Provincial Police Chief Hüseyin Aşkın, who arrived in the region, received information about the incident.
The bodies were taken to the morgue of the Izmir Institute of Forensic Medicine.
