In Çorum’s Osmancık district, face-to-face education was suspended for 14 days in 3 schools due to the increase in the number of coronavirus cases in educational institutions. Teachers, students and staff were also quarantined in the home and bedroom.
The Osmancık District General Hygiene Council met under the chairmanship of the district governor Ayhan Akpay and made a number of decisions, especially within the scope of the increasing number of cases in educational institutions. Within the scope of the decision; Due to the high number of positive cases and contacts, it was decided to suspend education for 14 days at Ahmet Yesevi Imam Hatip Secondary School, Ahmet Çörekçi General Primary School and Ahmet Çörekçi General Regional Boarding School in the district. While it was decided to continue distance education in the 3 schools where the measures were taken, teachers, staff and students were also placed in home quarantine. It was announced that the boarding school students were isolated in their dormitory.
