THE RISK MAP WILL BE UPDATED
With the announcement of the first map, 81 provinces were divided into 4 low, medium, high and very high risk color groups.
14 provinces were at low risk, 28 provinces at medium risk, 22 provinces in a high-risk group, and 17 provinces in a very high-risk group. But the number of cases has increased in the meantime.
The daily number of cases, which was 9,891 on March 1, when the map was announced, exceeded the 15,000 limit.
With the number of cases exceeding 15 thousand, the risk situation will be reviewed. The risk map will be updated. New restrictions will come to light in provinces with greater numbers and risk.
WHAT ARE THE DETERMINED COLORS?
The Ministry of Health announced that the provinces with a weekly number of cases less than 10 per 100,000 would be considered “low” risk, 11-35 “medium”, 36-100 “high” and more than 100 provinces at risk “very high or tall”.
According to this; blue represents low risk, yellow represents medium risk, orange represents high risk, red represents very high risk. The number of cases is not the only criterion for determining color codes.
Criteria such as number of cases, population proportion, increase / decrease rate, vaccination rate, intensive care and service capacities will be calculated and explained together on the map.
WILL THE MEASURES INCREASE?
At the cabinet meeting, the risk status of the provinces will be assessed by looking at the number of cases, hospital and intensive care capacities, and vaccination rates.
New restrictions will also arise for provinces whose status has changed on the new map.
