The defendant Burhan Dalğali, the complainant Ebubekir B. and his wife Sema Nur B. and their lawyers attended the hearing at the 23rd High Criminal Court of Bakırköy. The defendant Burhan Dalğali defended himself for the first time against his images falling on social networks. “He was not writing anything in Arabic from the book that he seemed to be reading in the pictures,” said Dalğali, who said he was trapped.
The president of the court said, “Didn’t the woman ask what he did to you?” On the defendant’s question, “This business is a conspiracy. The woman didn’t ask me anything. Nor did I tell him that I was reading something religious. I did not write in Arabic, I did not read sentences. I pretended to write something on her body to save myself from those people. Otherwise, it is not possible to write anything on the body in our religion. Anyway, he was not conscious at the time. “I was not myself,” he said. The president of the court said the woman did not complain about the incident and therefore did not ask her to do anything.
‘ASKED IF THERE IS A SEPARATE ROOM’
Sema B., the complainant who was heard after the defendant, said that he came to the defendant’s house to celebrate the imam’s wedding and said: “My wife gave 3,200 lire. The defendant told us: “Is there a separate room?” It bothered me when he said, I left the room. I did not anticipate that I would ask for so much money. “I’m not complaining,” he said. Following the statements received, the court decided to open an account for the defendant Burhan Dalğali to pay 3,200 lire to the author and postponed the hearing.
WHEN THE DEFENDED PICTURE WAS TAKEN, THEY ESCAPED JUSTICE
The judicial board decided to open an account for the payment of 3,200 lire to the complainant for the incident and postponed the hearing to correct the deficiencies.
Burhan Dalğali, who left the court after the hearing, escaped from the court when he noticed that members of the press were taking pictures.
