Mehmet Bal, who raises cattle in the Tatlıcak district of the central Karatay district, took his sheep out of the pen at night to graze them. 26 of the sheep that were grazing on the moor suddenly trembled and fell to the ground, and some of them had swollen bellies. When his sheep died, Bal called the 112 Emergency Call Center and reported the situation. The HAYDİ teams affiliated with the Provincial Security Directorate were then dispatched to the region. The teams began a study to determine the cause of the sheep’s death.
Claiming that his sheep suddenly trembled and fell to the ground, Mehmet Bal said:
“While I was grazing my sheep, I saw my animals tremble. Then they fell to the ground. Some of them had a swollen and split belly. My 26 sheep perished. They may be poisoned. I think it’s from the surrounding factories. We are all partners in Muslim property. You were using your milk, someone else was using your meat. My efforts were in vain, “he said.
