THE SHAVING OF THE PRAYER OF THE YEAR
The rosary prayer is a mandub prayer that is recommended to be performed once in a lifetime. The Messenger of God (PBUH) said to his uncle Abbas: “Look, uncle, let me show you something that has ten benefits; If you do this, the first end of your sins, the old, the new, the unconsciously committed, the knowingly committed, the small-big and the secret-done openly, God will forgive you ten kinds of sins. “He recommended and taught this prayer saying; Hz. When Abbas said that we cannot do this every day, Hz. The Prophet stated that it would be sufficient to perform this prayer once a week, once a month, once a year or once in a lifetime (Abu Dawood, Tatawvu ‘, 14; Tirmidhi, Salat, 238).
The rosary prayer consists of four rak’ahs and is performed as follows: The prayer begins with the intention of “performing the glorified prayer for the sake of Allah.”
It is said 15 times after Subhanellahi wa’l-hamdulillâhi velâ ilaha illallahu vallahü akbar.
Then his mouth is directed to the basmala, and after reciting al-Fatiha and surah, it is said: “Subhanallah wa’l-hamdulillâhi wa ilaha illallahu akbar. It is chanted 10 times in the second prostration.”
Therefore, 75 prayer beads are made for rak’ah. When the second rak’ah is attempted, the glorification is first read 15 times, then the basmalah is drawn and the al-Fatiha and surah are recited and the prayer prayers are carried 10 times.
The remaining rak’ahs are repeated in the same way to complete 4 rak’ahs and make a total of three hundred prayers.
The prayer of the rosary is not performed during times of prayer (Ibn Abidin, Redd al-mukhtar, II, 30-31).
