MK, a student from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, allegedly asked his brother KK, a high school student, to throw away the garbage in the house when his parents were not at home. At KK’s objection, there was a debate between the two brothers. MK stabbed KK in the chest area 11 times with the bread knife he bought from the kitchen as the discussion escalated. While KK remained in blood, MK panicked and reported to the police.
Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Finding MK with blood on his hands and on it, the police found KK lying in blood when he entered the house. During the control, it was determined that KK lost his life. KK’s body was sent to the forensic medicine institution for autopsy after the on-site investigation, while MK was detained.
On the other hand, it was learned that his father, who was visiting with his wife during the incident, was the Head of the Library Department of the same university with his eldest son.
