The incident took place in Bağcılar on February 5. The person who learned to be a supermarket clerk put the 2 million lire he collected from the chain markets into his car. The suspects who followed him first lowered their tires while the car was parked. The market worker prepared to go to Edirne. The suspects blocked the car. The suspects who got out of their vehicles shot the car’s tires with a firearm, then the suspects, who smashed the vehicle’s windows, took the 2 million lira at the rear and fled.
12 suspects captured
Faced with the complaint from the market employee, the Teams of the Extortion Office of the Public Security Branch began to work. The teams conducted simultaneous operations in different directions on February 14, 12 suspects were captured. While 8 suspects were arrested by the court to which they were taken, 4 suspects were released on condition of judicial control.
On the other hand, the moments when the suspects lowered the tire of the car before the incident and the moments when they followed the victim with motorcycles and cars were reflected on the cameras.
