2021-Receipt of YKS applications
The 2021 Higher Education Institutions Exam (2021-YKS) will take place from June 26 to 27, 2021. The Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) will be applied on June 26, 2021, the Field Proficiency Tests (AYT) in the morning session on June 27, 2021 and a Foreign Language Test (YDT) in the afternoon session.
Applications for the exam will be made between February 4 and March 2, 2021.
Candidates will be able to make their applications electronically from February 4, 2021 through the OSYM Application Centers or individually from 10.00 on the OSYM website https://ais.osym.gov.tr or the OSYM Candidate Transaction Mobile App.
Since the HES code information will be obtained when applying for the exam, candidates must have obtained the HES code before applying for the exam or going to the application centers for the application. Candidates will be able to access information on how to obtain the HES code on the website of the Ministry of Health at https://hayatevesigar.saglik.gov.tr.

YKS applications can be made through e-Government
ÖSYM President Prof. Dr. Halis Aygün explained that Candidates for the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS), who have a TR ID card and e-government password, can apply for the exam through e-government without having to go to the application centers.
Aygün gave the following information about this year’s YKS applications:
“Candidates with a TR ID card and e-government password can access the OSYM Candidate Transaction System by clicking on the option ‘Register with e-government’ through the OSYM AIS mobile app or ‘http: // ais. osym.gov.tr ’sin Candidates must obtain their passwords at PTT branches to register for e-Devlet.
