IYI Party Chairman Meral Akşener responded to journalist Suat Toktaş’s questions on Halk TV.

During my candidacy, I do not have a bad letter about Bahçeli and the institutional structure of the MHP. We always made a claim and a vision, we didn’t have a language to walk through the unnecessary gossip that would bring down the party.
Then they kicked us out and we fought. After all, we founded the party, it was a very long process. Of course, the attitudes, speeches and actions of these friends who broke up with us or with the CHP are important. Nobody gets away with these things, the fighting within their own party that the voters want.
