IETT bus driver Eyüp Durgun and his son were abused in Kağıthane the day before. After the yielding dispute, people whose identity is unknown first verbally abused the bus driver and then smashed the bus windows. The attackers got on the bus and beat the driver and his son. After some time, the attackers, who removed the driver and his son from the bus, continued to beat them outside. Meanwhile, citizens who gathered at the screams of the passengers intervened and saved the driver and his son from the attack. After the attack, medical teams were dispatched to the scene with the warning. The injured driver and his son were taken to hospital after the first intervention and received treatment.
