An “indictment” came from the Republican MP against President Biden, who was sworn in in the United States on January 20 and officially assumed office.
Greene, who promised that if Biden won before the election, he would step against him through the impeachment process, he took action against Biden by keeping his promise to his voters.
In the video he shared on his Twitter account, Greene claimed that he accused Biden of “abuse of power” and referred to the work done by Hunter Biden, Biden’s son, in Ukraine.
The Republican deputy’s request is not expected to be accepted in the House of Representatives, which is dominated by Democrats, but the presentation of a dismissal clause against Biden at the start of his term, albeit “symbolic,” drew public attention.
AGAINST TRUMP AGAINST SENATE
On the other hand, Democrat Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House of Representatives, announced that the impeachment clause accepted against former President Donald Trump will be sent to the Senate shortly. Pelosi did not give an exact date in her statement.
The House of Representatives had accepted the impeachment clause in which Trump, the 45th president of the United States, was charged with “incitement to revolt” in connection with the raid of Congress on January 6.
Trump, for his part, denied the allegations, stating that there was no incitement to rebellion and that he was against violence.
