The thieves who killed the jeweler were caught in Diyarbakır

Two masked suspects, who entered a jeweler in Kaynartepe Nükhet Coşkun Caddesi district in Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, attempted to rob, shot owner Sinan Yoldaş (21) with a pistol and fled the scene.

Severely injured, Yoldaş could not save himself despite the intervention in the hospital to which he was transferred.

Work began to capture the suspects who fled, and the time of the incident was reflected on the security camera at the workplace.

In the image it was seen that one of the suspects entered the workplace with a mask and a rifle in his hand, and the other with a pistol and a bag.

It was recorded in the records that the suspect, who had a rifle in his hand, attacked Sinan Yoldaş, who was behind the jeweler’s counter, that Yoldaş’s mother tried to take the rifle from the suspect’s hands with the staff in her hand and there was a fight between them for a while.

In the scope of the studies carried out by the teams of the Subdirectorate of Public Security of the Provincial Directorate of Security on the attempted robbery of the jeweler and the murder of the owner of the workplace that occurred on December 22, 2020, the image was examined 260 hours of City Security Management System (KGYS) records with 112 separate working chambers in the region.

In the study, the suspects were determined to be BG (18) and ME (24).

TRAPPED BY OPERATION

The suspects were caught in a simultaneous operation in the central district of Yenişehir and Bağlar. During the raids carried out in 4 different residences, which were determined to belong to the suspects, the weapon that was presumed used in the incident, 6 shotgun shells, the backpack that the suspects carried during the incident and the clothes they were wearing were seized.

The suspects will be referred to the judicial authorities after the procedures in the police.
