Erdinç Genç, one of the two Turkish workers who lost their lives in the terrorist attack in Somalia, was expelled on his last trip to his hometown of Çorum.
A funeral ceremony was held in the town of Aşdağul in the Ortaköy district of Çorum for Erdinç Genç (44), married and father of 3 children, who died in a terrorist attack against a Turkish company with a motorcycle loaded with bombs the day before in Somalia.
Genç’s funeral, draped in the Turkish flag, was brought to the square in front of the house after being taken to his father’s house. Erdinç Genç’s body was buried in the cemetery in front of his house after the funeral prayer performed by Çorum Mufti Muharrem Biçer.
The ceremony was attended by many citizens with members of the protocol, including Genç’s painful father, Abdurrahman, his mother Hamide, his wife Melek Genç and relatives, as well as Çorum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi, Mayor Halil İbrahim Aşkın.
It was learned that Erdinç Genç went to Somalia to work with Selami Aydoğdu, who was killed in the same attack 3 months ago and was buried today in Çorum. Şakir Çetinkaya, Yavuz Ercan and İmdat Uzuncaköse were injured.

The grief of the father who lost his son in a terrorist attack in Somalia
Selami Aydoğdu (22), who lost his life in a terrorist attack against a Turkish company with a motorcycle laden with bombs in the morning hours in Somalia, was buried in the village of Çayköy in the Mecitözü district of Çorum, his hometown .
Father Ömer Aydoğdu, who survived the same attack and attended his son’s funeral, told Anadolu Agency (AA) that Selami Aydoğdu is one of five children.

His father Aydoğdu said that his son came to him 3 months ago to pay his marriage debts and that he and his son were working on the construction of a road on the day of the attack.

Aydoğdu stated that the bomb exploded next to him and that his son was farther away from the explosion.
“When the explosion happened, my son yelled: ‘Daddy, Daddy,’ he asked. I asked him, ‘I don’t have anything.’ He fainted at that moment. I poured water on his head. They took him to another hospital room, to I was taken to another room. I had no injuries. Then the doctors came and said: “We took your son to two surgeries but we couldn’t save him.”
Expressing his deep regret over the death of his son in a terrorist attack in the country where he came to earn his bread, Aydoğdu said:
“Forced to me he came to work. There was also a wedding debt, but I want to send to Turkey for their Somali terrorist attacks. I did not agree, I put their mothers in service and brother. ‘Father, we die, we die together, we will make a vote together. We are here. We came for a bread fight. ‘He said, “I went to Somalia 5 months ago. I had a wedding for my son 6 months ago.
