Police officer Fethi Sekin and Sheriff Musa Can, who fought against the terrorists, were martyred in the terrorist attack that took place at the Izmir Courthouse 4 years ago, and 7 people, 3 of them policemen, were injured. A day before the anniversary of the treacherous attack, new images appeared of the martyr Fethi Sekin, who averted disaster. In the images, the employees of the cafe next to the court try to scare Sekin by secretly waiting at the shack of the martyred police. Sekin reflects on the cameras laughing. Öztürk Uçar, a former employee of the cafe who took the pictures, said: “We always joke with him, we try to scare him. That day, we wanted to joke with our martyr again. We wait in your cabin. We tried to scare him. Time passed on that image. Now we understand that; While we tried to scare him, he would end our fears by fighting heroically. We came across the video a little while ago. When we manipulated the file, we saw it and we were moved ”.

Uçar said they missed Fethi Sekin so much, “When we look at the images, we remember the old days. It was as if he was alive and saw him before us. We miss him so much. We had a relationship beyond brother-sister, I wish it lived. I have not been able to go to court for 4 years. When I leave, I burst into tears. Fethi Sekin had given me his coat, helmet, and raincoat. I keep them in my house. “I couldn’t go this year because of the pandemic, but if it happens next year, I want to go to Elazig and pray at his grave.”
Uçar also recorded those moments on his cell phone camera in the cafe where he worked during the attack on the court. Fethi Sekin and the wounded were reflected in the images taken by Uçar.
