The first car theft incident of the year, which occurred at a site around 01:00 the previous day in Sarıyer Maslak, was prevented by teams from the Sarıyer Public Security Bureau. According to the information obtained, a person dressed as a woman wanted to enter a parking lot with luxury cars on the site so as not to be recognized on New Year’s Eve. Seeing that the parking lot was closed, the person walked around the back and entered through a space as small as a pinhole. The person who wandered around the parking lot dressed in women’s clothes for a while started looking for the remote control in the office section to open the parking lot blind.
5 MILLION LIRA MERCEDES Jeep STOL
The person, who searched for minutes, caught the eye of the 5 million lira Mercedes luxury jeep, which was parked. The person, who took the key to the office jeep, broke the parking lot blind with a light commercial vehicle inside and disappeared with the jeep. The moments when the thief entered and wore women’s clothing were reflected in the security cameras. In the pictures, the person entering the parking lot through the opening in the back begins to wander inside. The person, who was seen in women’s clothing, enters the office section after wandering around for a long time. Noticing the camera here, the thief changes direction with his hand. When the person who enters and leaves the office many times does not find the control of the blind, he takes the keys of the luxury vehicles. The person who enters as a woman then disappears into the luxury vehicle section and disappears from the corners.
THE SARIYER POLICE CAPTURED THE THIEF IN A WOMAN
After the incident, teams from the Public Security Bureau affiliated with the Sarıyer District Police Department, which took action instantly upon notification, began to work. Sarıyer Police, who blocked the megacity when determining the jeep’s license plate, determined that the jeep they detected was traveling on Maslak Ayazağa Street. Police teams entering the street stopped the jeep at the request point in Ayazağa. Süleyman T. (24), a citizen of Turkmenistan, sitting in the jeep dressed in women’s clothing, was arrested by the Sarıyer police. While the person whose body was searched was detained, he was taken to safety with the jeep.
