Food writer and economist Vedat Milor reacted to Melih Bulu’s appointment to Boğaziçi University, where he also graduated, and shared “I do not think the recent appointments made as a graduate of Boğaziçi University are correct in this regard.”
President Erdogan, who is also a candidate for parliament for the AK Party Prof. Dr. Melih BuluReactions continue against his appointment at Haliç University first and Boğaziçi University as rector a year later.
Writer and gastronomic economist Vedat Milor criticizing the decision, noting that he does not believe that the appointments made in the last period are correct.
Milor shared the following statements in his posts on his Twitter account:
- “I believe that the decisions made for the continuity of social life must be legitimate. Of course, there are different theories to explain what this is. It is possible to make different justifications based on these. Rather than please, the overall satisfaction of the community should be addressed as a graduate of Boğaziçi University, I don’t think recent appointments are correct in this regard.
- The competence of the person in legitimacy is a justification at bottom, but I think it is insufficient. It is more important who made this decision. Here, too, this is what creates dissatisfaction in the community. Where dissatisfaction prevails, success is difficult. “
In a specific community as anywhere else, the overall satisfaction of that community should be directed rather than satisfying a single person. As a graduate of Boğaziçi University, I don’t think the recent appointments are correct in this regard.
