The apartment owners who agreed with the company completed the unfinished construction in 2000 on their own. After the completion of the building, the apartment owners were unable to obtain the title deed they wanted from the owner due to disputes.
Due to disputes that dragged on for approximately 11 years, owner Ş.M. delivered the title deed of part of the land on which the building was built to C.Ç. in 2011. Faced with this incident, the owners of the apartment, who have been trying to enforce their deeds for years, this time faced harassment from C. Ç. C.Ç., who held the title to part of the land, broke the doors of 7 floors and 4 commercial premises, changed the lock and took it from the owners of the apartments.

Claiming that his title deed and apartments and shops belong to him, C.Ç. seized the houses and shops of 11 families by force. The landowner C.Ç. seized by force the floor presented by the then mayor of the metropolitan municipality of Gaziantep, Celal Doğan, after the gold medal he won at the 2002 European Championship to the national athlete Süreyya Ayhan Kop, who won medals in international competitions of athletics in the 2000s. Sharing that they took over the owner’s house in the presence of a notary, Ayhan claimed that this incident occurred years later due to a problem between the land owner and the contractor. Stating that people he does not know can enter his and his neighbors’ house by breaking down the doors, Ayhan said: “We have been in court for 4 years. We have decided to evacuate but we cannot evacuate the house. There are many decisions and files. However, the incident never ends. I can’t go home and say who you are now. They walk around the house in a very dangerous way. This situation hurts me emotionally. Because I bought that house with the sweat on my brow, the fruit of the championship that I achieved working in very difficult conditions. Its spiritual significance is also very high for me. For this reason alone, I am so sorry. I want this event to end as soon as possible. We have not been able to get the rent for 4 years. Also, the houses of many people on that site are maintained this way. We also relayed this to the police. The police cannot remove these people. My main wish in 2021 is that this house be given to us ”.
“THE HOUSES ARE SURE TO BELONG TO THE VICTIMS”
Stating that they have a promise to sell real estate and a construction contract in exchange for a flat, lawyer Abidin İnci said that according to this contract, the apartments must be handed over to the victims. Noting that the contractor’s clients were victims of bankruptcy and fled abroad, İnci said: “Among the victims is the national athlete Süreyya Ayhan Kop. According to the contract that my clients made with the owner, the title deed must be given to my clients after the completion of the building. However, the houses are not delivered to them after this construction is completed. They face constant harassment. They are not allowed into your home. They are constantly exposed to threats, attacks, swearing and insults. Normally, the houses will surely belong to my clients and other victims. We present a case of cancellation and deed registration. “If this case is concluded, we hope the victims will get their facts,” he said.

DC. Yahya Yıldız, one of the victims whose home was detained by the contractor, said they completed the construction themselves because the contractor escaped. Yıldız said that the owner did not provide the title deeds because the construction was completed a bit late and said: “In 2005, we were in court with the owner. We win every case. However, we were unable to resolve this title issue because not all residents were able to meet. In the end, this man gives a person who is a usurer the deeds that he must give us from the apartment. This person works as a mafia with his 5 children. This usurer said to our landowner: ‘Give me those deeds. I’ll share what breaks there. ‘ First of all, this usurer seized the floor of the national corridor Süreyya Ayhan Kop in the apartment. He then forcibly seized 6 more apartments. Then he hijacks 4 stores. This person is doing what he wants with his children. Let’s go to the police station. Nothing is happening. Let’s go to court. We do not understand anything. So we are confused about what to do now, ”he said.
“WE WAIT FOR THE HELP OF OUR GOVERNMENTS”
By emphasizing that C.Ç. he doesn’t even have his own trash in the apartment, Yıldız said: “Since we couldn’t get our land titles, he kept it. This man is cheating now. He says ‘I own the land here’. This is not once a plot. It is a building that was completed in 2000. You have not bought an apartment from anyone here. How does this work? We cannot enter our house alone in the apartment. However, we can enter with 3-5 people. Otherwise, when he is alone, he does all kinds of insults, cursing and hitting us. The police and the government say: “It is not our job.” Let’s go to court. We file a petition. Then nothing happens. We have not had any results for years. We look forward to help from our state elders. Let them help out in this business.
