Months after the murder of Pınar Gültekin, who was brutally murdered in Muğla, it was alleged that a member of the CHP parliament telephoned Gültekin’s father, Sıddık Gültekin, and demanded that he withdraw his complaint.
Pınar Gültekin’s father, Sıddık Gültekin, also appeared on camera and made new remarks after CHP Muğla MP Süleyman Girgin shared the 5.5-month speeches with the press the day before.
SIDDIK GÜLTEKİN: SAID ‘WAIT FROM THE CASE’
In making a statement yesterday, Sıddık Gültekin said:
* My phone rang on the 23rd. I picked up the phone. He said he was the deputy of Muğla Süleyman Girgin. He made his condolences.
* After the word condolence he said ‘drop the case’. They said: ‘The public trial continues, we are with you, we will do whatever it takes.’ Because I know that the mother of the other party is the district president of the CHP.
* The word I will say is literally correct. All sentences are correct. I said I would kill myself if it was proven otherwise. And I did not accept.
* I hung up the phone. I guess it didn’t take a minute and a half. I turned off the phone and the event. After 20 days, CHP Hizan District President Aydın Sadak put my family and friends into action.
* They reached me, they came. I didn’t believe it first. “Who called you?” I asked. He said Süleyman Girgin was watching. He took out the phone. I saw that the person who called me and the person who called him were the same. I did not accept it, he called me many times. We will give whatever you want as long as you drop the case, the public case is already ongoing

Süleyman Girgin said: “I said: ‘Let them prove his supposed speech, I will resign my MP. When I proved my legitimacy by revealing my 5.5-month phone records, they changed words now. “

Speaking with SÖZCÜ, Süleyman Girgin said:
* The day the woman’s body was found, I called parliament and condemned the incident. On the second day, the 22nd, while I was buried in Bitlis Hizan, I called the district president in the evening and conveyed my condolences. He asked what the incident was and I told him very sad.
* I said ‘Now they will come to the CHP’ because their mother is under the leadership of the CHP. I said, “But those killings and harassments are not a party.” The next day, I called Father Sıddık Bey and spoke for one minute and 56 seconds. I made all the records on this.
* On the phone, I introduced myself to the father and said: ‘Thank you, we are sad and we are always with you.’ The father told me: “Muğla has taken care of us.” I closed it. Anyway, I haven’t called the father again. We follow the hearings.
“I think they are directing the father”
Girgin said:
* In our conversation with Fatih Çekirge, you can’t tell me these things in 1 minute 56 seconds. There are other things behind this, ‘he says.
* In his speech with Çekirge, my president told me that the deputy who called the father was named after Veli Ağbaba and Özgür Özel.
* Now I’m asking; Since that’s the case, 6 months ago when I called the father to ask for my condolences, you said to Ağbaba and Özel: ‘Look, they will call a deputy and they will say that, resign their case, he said’ why didn’t you say it ?
* If you did this, you would find it convincing. I think they are leading the father after 6 months. Naturally, the father was also painful, his daughter was killed. I can’t be mad at them.
“AN UNEXPOSED SPEECH IS REQUESTED”
Stating that it is not credible to make such a claim 6 months after the incident, Girgin said:
* Apparently 6 months after the incident, his lawyer made contacts with several places. An absent conversation is alleged.
* The prosecution is about saying ‘Drop the case, the public case will continue anyway, I’ll never hear about it again’ and other things that would surprise me.
* Even before this is proven, the same person stands up and says ‘he did not say to drop the case’. What did I say? A statement was made, saying ‘he said to leave after the family’.
* This person is counting on their own conscience or is being misled.
* We sent a note to Fatih Çekirge on Sunday, the day the article was published, with the information of our president. Çekirge wrote the title differently in his own way. Then I made a public statement. Yesterday I made a statement with the arms of our women in the building of our city.
* All those who do not have a party know us and look for us. Our president, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, also calls this CHP an organized attack. It would have been credible if this name had been announced 5.5 months ago.
THE LAWYER WILL FILE A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT
Girgin, who argued that the issue was distorted with unrealistic statements, and that the attorney likely did so for publicity purposes, added that a criminal complaint would be filed against the attorney.
Girgin continued his words as follows:
* Our headquarters told me that they will also file a criminal complaint about this lawyer. It is believed that there is something else behind this.
* I have been trying to explain my innocence for 3 days. Okay, we did not eat pain, our stomach does not hurt. My name has not been mentioned until now.
* However, when the names of 4 MPs and Veli Ağbaba, Özgür Özel, were presented, our president asked if there was anyone looking for him. I’m the only condolence seeker.
* When that’s the case, I made my statement sincerely, believing that I should be the one to explain.
