Academician Aylin Sözer was murdered at her home in Maltepe, Istanbul.

Upon seeing that the fire broke out in the apartment, the police reported the situation to the fire brigade. The police, who entered, saw Delbe and Aylin Sözer lying on the ground.
Delbe attacked the police officers who wanted to stop her and wanted to pour caustic material on them.
A police officer was injured in the hand in the fight.
During the search of the suspect’s body, gold and caustic material belonging to Sözer were found.
While some police officers were affected by the smoke, suspect Delbe was arrested.
