A jeweler from Kadıköy took steps to draw attention to this problem and raise awareness and broke new ground in the sector. Instead of using the female body to promote his products, he did something unusual and opted for a male model. Soner Yaman, 31, who is the creator of the project and has worked as a sales consultant in the jewelry industry for about 10 years, wore the jewelry himself and posed for the glasses. This time, the model was male, and photographer Fehime Dönmez was the one who pressed the shutter. When they shared the photos on their social media accounts, they received a lot of comments in no time.

Explaining how this idea came about, Soner Yaman said:
“This idea has come out of everyday life. Now we have started to see the female body in advertising for everything related, unrelated. We have seen women’s bodies being commodified. This is a very disturbing situation. It is disturbing not only for women but also for men. Women should be remembered for their professional achievements. We attend many seminars and fairs. We have seen many women who have or are not related to the industry here. For example, when we go to a fair automotive, we see beautiful women who are beautifully dressed, but why are those women there? It is very wrong that they are there just because of their bodies. This is a serious attack on both men and women, all of humanity. “

Stating that there were both positive and negative feedbacks, Yaman continued as follows:
“In every way, when the female body is used everywhere, nobody’s voice was heard until today. But when I did something like that, I got reactions from many places. Positive feedback is very nice, but I also received negative feedback. I am trying to create. The female body is not an object, it should not be. There are very good positive comments from the followers. They always said that they are our sympathizers. There were even many people who wanted to do our legal advice, they want to take my photos for free, work with our graphics and images. thanks”

“Yes, I’m the model. I couldn’t ask someone else for something like that because it was going to be a job that really requires courage. It was a very nice and fun experience. Our photographer was also a woman. I chose her for her profession. I used one woman in my project for her art and expertise. It’s a very funny take. He is already a supporter of our campaign. Everything has gone very well so far. The owner of our company also supports her. I want an end to violence against all kinds of beings, living beings and inanimate things.The bodies of women are no longer objects.
