WHO IS AHMET ACAR?

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Acar was born in Istanbul in 1949.

He served as Vice President of the Department of Business Administration, Head of the Department of Business Administration, Dean of the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences and Founding Rector of the North Cyprus Campus at METU.

He assumed the responsibility of conducting the studies of the METU Strategic Plan 2005-2010.

In 2008 and 2012, he was appointed rector of the Middle East Technical University twice in a row by then-President Abdullah Gül.
