President Erdogan spoke at the opening ceremony of the ETİ mine’s lithium production facility:
While economies in many parts of the world have stagnated, we are excited to bring a new job to our country every day. Today, we have just inaugurated the project with an investment cost of TL 352 million, which will provide a great relief in transportation south of Ankara. The difficult days are also the days of elimination, elimination and separation. These days are the times when true friends of our nation and counterfeits are distinguished. In this process, everyone has the opportunity to see who is what and who serves whom. Seeking our case to our great and powerful Turkey will not allow anyone to enter. We will continue our fight for service, with the support and prayer of our nation, in the coming period.
This year we have had a fruitful year full of good news, especially in the energy field. The number of drilling drilled in the Mediterranean and the Black Sea reached 9. Not all callers can find it, but those who do. To do this, we first brought to our country one of the most important drilling and seismic research fleets in the world. Then we started the exploration work. The discovery of 405 billion cubic meters of natural gas has been a turning point for our country.
In our period, approximately 2.5 times the drilling work done in 70 years was revealed. In the last 4 years, 4.4 million meters of drilling have been carried out, breaking a historical record in this area. In 2017 we began aerial geophysical studies with 2 planes and scanned an area of 920 thousand square kilometers. We did it 100 times faster than the old ground-based methods. Just as we do not leave the top of our earth empty, we also try to benefit from the blessings below it. We pay special attention to the boron mine, which is one of the most strategic underground resources in our country. Our production of refined boron products, which was 436 thousand tons in 2002, reached approximately 1.6 million tons this year. Our exports of boron products increased to $ 610 million despite the epidemic. In the same period, we increased our installed capacity for refined boron products to 2 million 753 thousand tons. Hopefully, we plan to further expand the range of use of boron minerals in the next period. This facility that we have opened is the latest example of our efforts.
Boron reserves in our country also contain lithium. We plan to supply the lithium to be used in the batteries for our TOGG car project from here. This lithium will be used in the battery of all mobile devices, including tablets and laptops. Thanks to the investment, we aim to recycle 90 percent of liquid waste with a recycling-oriented model that is sensitive to human and environmental health.

With this project, we are opening a new windpipe to Ankara, where our War of Independence is being managed. Ankara is a city that is at the crossroads of all major road networks, as a capital city. We have worked hard to give this city, surrounded by slums, the appearance of a royal capital. In the next period, although we are in a different position at the mayoralty point, we will continue as the central administration.
Some of the investments are the Ankara-Istanbul and Ankara-Konya high-speed train lines, and the Ankara-Sivas high-speed train line that we will open soon.
Regardless of which direction you are going from Ankara, we offer you a fast and comfortable journey with divided roads. We have brought many highway and subway projects to our city. We remember as if it were yesterday how the resistance against these projects was exhibited. Despite those who pursue public enmity in the name of populism, we also beautify Ankara.
WE DECIDE TO BRING IT TO THE MARKET

Turkey advanced in terms of infrastructure during this period, politically powerful, it is trapped in a period of economic readiness.
