The dispute between the Avcı and Polat families over the Remzi rural neighborhood of the Şanlıurfa Bozova highway, over a land dispute, soon turned into an armed fight.
The parties fired at each other with pistols and rifles. As the fighting lasted for a few minutes, the residents of the neighborhood experienced great fear. Following the warning, a large number of gendarmes and medical teams were dispatched to the neighborhood.
Although the gendarmerie teams ensured environmental safety, it was determined that 4 people died during the controls carried out by the health teams. The 4 injured were taken to hospitals by ambulances. The injured who began their treatment in the emergency services were also found to be in mortal danger.

The gendarmerie teams took security measures both in the neighborhood and in the surroundings of the hospitals where the wounded were treated, to avoid a new incident. Three people who were determined to participate in the fight were arrested.
