Japanese Health Minister Norihisa Tamura announced that a new mutated type of corona virus was detected in 5 people from England to Japan.
In Japan, Health Minister Tamura voiced Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga’s call for strict quarantine measures at airports and especially for people returning from the UK.
With Japan, the number of countries where the mutation took off increased to eight.
Japan does not allow anyone from the UK to enter Japan, except for Japanese citizens who have returned to the country and those with a residence permit.

Japan has temporarily banned flights to the UK to prevent the spread of the new type of corona virus mutation, and Chief Cabinet Secretary Kato Katsunobu announced that flights to the UK were temporarily suspended to prevent the spread of the new mutation, of Japanese nationals from the UK on Sunday.
