WHO IS ORHAN KURAL?
Orhan Kural was born in Istanbul in 1950. After completing his secondary education at Kadıköy Maarif College, Kural graduated from the ITU College of Mining in 1972. He graduated from Columbia University in New York, where he studied on a scholarship at May 1973, as a Mining Engineer, and in September 1978 he received the title of “Doctor”. He served 44 years at ITU, including the last nine years as head of the department.
