Discovery made in the murder of Pınar Gültekin

Pınar Gültekin, a student at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics, disappeared on July 16.

MURDER CONFESSED

Cemal Metin Avcı, the ex-girlfriend of the young woman who was arrested during the studies, confessed that she strangled Pınar in the fight that broke out, put her body in the barrel of the vineyard house and burned it, and put cement on it.

PINAR FAMILY LAWYER REQUESTED FOR DISCOVERY

At the end of the investigation, a lawsuit was filed against Cemal Metin Avcı, married and father of one child, for aggravated life imprisonment for ‘murder with monstrous sentiment’ and 5 years in prison for his brother Mertcan Avcı for ‘complicity’.

At the 3rd High Criminal Court of Muğla, Pınar Gültekin’s family lawyer Rezan Epözdemir requested an investigation at the scene of the incident at the first hearing of the case that began on December 9.

The court board decided to make a discovery on December 22 in the presence of an expert and crime scene investigation expert, after receiving a report on whether murder suspect Cemal Metin Avcı was mentally healthy.
