RELATED NEWS – REAL MADRID PENALTY FOR HEURTEL
The Barcelona basketball team cleared up media reports on Thomas Heurtel.
The Catalan team made a statement of 5 points. The explanation is the following:
1) The club and the player decided not to appear at the Joventut de Badalona match on Sunday to prevent Heurtel from being injured.
2) On Monday the transfer to the player was authorized. At the player’s request, he said that although he would not play in the Anadolu Efes match, he wanted to come to Istanbul with the team and reach a solution about his professional future.
3) On Tuesday, the player arrived with the team and asked the club for permission to arrange his professional future.
4) On Tuesday night, the club and the player’s agency ended negotiations and continued talking. It was decided that the player would not return to the group, as negotiations broke down and he did not comply with team discipline. The player was not neglected in any way and all the facilities (hotel cost, plane ticket, documents) were provided.
5) Thomas Heurtel is still a FC Barcelona player. The future will become clear in the next few days.
