Süleyman Soylu’s ‘torture’ reaction to Greece: now it turns to murder

According to the statement made by the Coast Guard Command of the Ministry of the Interior, 2 Coast Guard ships were assigned to the site after receiving information that there was a group of irregular migrants in 3 life rafts off Aslan Point in İzmir Foça at 07.10 on December 19, 2020. It was shared that a total of 31 irregular migrants were rescued as a result of the search and rescue activity initiated.

While the rescued immigrants were being beaten by the Greek elements, their valuables were carried and put on a life raft to be released into Turkish territorial waters, 5 people fell into the sea, 2 of the 5 people who fell were taken alive from the sea, 3 of them lost their lives, 3 irregular people lost their lives. The immigrant was said to have been taken away in a separate boat.

The Interior Minister, Süleyman Soylu, addressed the Commissioner for Internal Affairs of the European Union, Ylva Johansson, sharing on Twitter the moment of the rescue of immigrants.
