After graduating from Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University, Faculty of Letters, Department of Early Childhood Education, Önkür, who was waiting for his assignment for three years, decided to return to his village. After observing the troubles in the village, Önkür, who became a candidate, was elected mukhtar with the votes of 210 voters in Dalbahçe, which is the largest village in Doğubayazıt with 200 houses and a population of 955.
Önkür was attacked by a group due to a malfunction in the drinking water network. Önkür, who survived the physical and verbal attack with the help of other villagers, said he would complain.
Önkür claimed that he recorded the moment of the attack with his mobile phone and that he complained to the relevant institutions: “I have been attacked by the same people before. I am very disturbed by the people trying to prevent me from serving my people and the villagers with Verbal and physical attacks, my psychology is broken. I am trying to serve. “The service should not be attacked in return. I have no security in life, I want the elders of my state to support me, “he said.
