Police and firefighters came to the rescue of the woman who was detained in a car repair shop for 24 hours by her ex-husband, who was subjected to violence by her new husband in Denizli. The incident took place in the Sümer district of the Merkezefendi district. According to the information obtained, Raziye Saruhan took refuge with his ex-wife Mehmet K. when she was beaten by her new husband. Taking refuge in his ex-wife, Saruhan was detained in the auto repair shop for more than 24 hours, with the door closed. The desperate woman, who ran out of charge, hit the shutter and screamed for help for hours. Saruhan, who has no charger, charged the phone with the charger he found hours later in his office. The woman, who was waiting for the phone to be opened, called the 112 Emergency Call Center and reported. Firefighters and police teams, who were dispatched to the region after the warning, broke the lock and opened the shutter. The joy on the face of the woman who came out with her suitcases behind the open door hours later did not go unnoticed. The teams took the woman, detained and in good health, to the police station.

Unaware that his wife was detained, Ramazan Y’s effort to reach Saruhan for hours failed. Ramazan Y., who became aware of the situation when Saruhan opened his persistently ringing phone, also arrived at the scene. Responding to questions from the İhlas News Agency (İHA) after she was rescued from her workplace, Raziye Saruhan said: “We got divorced because I was together with Ramazan Y. I was trying to save myself from my ex-wife. “My wife, Ramazan Y., called me.”
