The Ministry of Health issued a circular on the provision of occupational diseases or disabled health workers in service who were diagnosed with coronavirus and died.
According to the TRT Haber news, health workers will be considered as service disabled with the published circular. Family members of the deceased and diagnosed health care provider will be paid monthly. The families of health professionals who have passed away may benefit from rights such as additional pay and employment.
With the circular issued by the Ministry of Health, it was announced that health workers can benefit from social security rights in the field of occupational disease or incapacity for work in case of loss of the workforce due to the nature of the work that they perform or perform.
UNIVERSITY AND PRIVATE HOSPITALS ARE IN THE REACH OF THE GENERAL
With the circular, employees of all health institutions, including universities and private health institutions, will be able to benefit from occupational diseases or malleability of duty due to the coronavirus.
WHAT WILL THE APPS BE LIKE?
Applications will be approved by the corresponding unit chief (provincial, district health director, chief physician) and then by the provincial health director.
Applications approved in relation to public officials by virtue of Public Officials Law No. 657 will be sent to the Ministry of Health by the Provincial Health Directorates.
Applications approved for employees who work outside the scope of the Civil Servants Law No. 657 in the institutions and organizations attached to the Ministry of Health will be forwarded to the Provincial Directorates of the Social Security Institution by the Provincial Health Directorates.
