The Interior Ministry sent an additional circular on the “Covid-19 Outbreak” to 81 provincial governorates.
The Circular noted that additional decisions were made as a result of the assessment of the status achieved in the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic in the Presidential Cabinet, which met under the presidency of the President on December 14, and the additional decisions taken are listed below:
NEW YEAR RESTRICTIONS
Curfew restrictions that will apply between December 31, 2020 and January 4, 2021
In the area of curfew restrictions that apply on weekends, taking into account that Friday, January 1, 2021 is a holiday, it will begin at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2020, it will cover the entire Friday, January 1, Saturday, January 3, Sunday, and January 4, 2021. The curfew will be restricted to completion at 05:00 on Monday.
During the curfews that will apply between December 31, 2020 – January 4, 2021, the procedures and principles determined in the scope of the circular that we send to the provinces on curfews applied on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), Friday January 1, Saturday January 2 and Sunday January 3 will also be valid for the days.
On weekends, the fishermen / fish stalls will be open between 10am and 5pm.
Until a new decision is made, during the weekend street restriction, workplaces in the form of fishermen / fish stalls will also be able to serve citizens between 10am and 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
LAWYERS AND NOTARIES ARE EXEMPT FROM LIMITATION
Lawyers and notaries were added among the people and places within the scope of exception, limited to the time and route of the functions indicated, in order to prevent the intensity of the end-of-year processes from adversely affecting business life, provided that limit the execution of judicial functions such as attorneys, hearings and declarations during the period and days in which the curfew is applied. . Intercity trips by lawyers with their private vehicles for the performance of judicial functions will also be allowed.
Until a new decision is made, the implementation of the early childhood education classes will continue. All public and private day-to-day kindergartens will be able to start face-to-face education from today.
UNION EVENTS DELAYED UNTIL MARCH 1, 2021
With the circular previously sent to the provinces, activities that included non-governmental organizations, professional organizations and higher organizations, unions and cooperatives, including the general assembly, were postponed until March 1, 2021. Activities were also added to this area which included the general assembly held by the unions.
In accommodation facilities that do not have a ventilation conditioning system, a UV filter will be installed on the mechanical ventilation / air conditioning systems and regular and frequent maintenance will be ensured.
Mobile HEPA filters will be used in the general closed areas of the accommodation facilities that do not have ventilation / air conditioning systems, in quantity and power appropriate to the cubic meter of space. Your maintenance will be done regularly and your filters will be changed frequently.
In accordance with articles 27 and 72 of the General Health Law, these decisions will be made urgently by the Provincial / District General Health Boards.
There will be no interruptions in the application and no complaints will be generated. Those who do not comply with the decisions taken will be subject to administrative action in accordance with the pertinent articles of the General Hygiene Law. Necessary legal proceedings will be initiated in the area of article 195 of the Turkish Penal Code in relation to criminal acts.
